Stittsville, Ontario – After a frustrating performance in round 6, the Karting Konnections team members were eager to re-establish themselves as top contenders in round 7 of the NCKC season hosted by Karter’s Korner.

It didn’t take long for Senior Medium points leader Jason Bolton to prove he was determined to make up for lost ground at event 6. In qualifying, Bolton piloted his Awesome powered Gold Kart to the pole position pacing the field by over half a second. Starting from the pole in the pre-final, Bolton was never seriously challenged taking the win. The final would be more of the same as Bolton dominated the race from start to finish on route to his third win of the season extending his lead in the points.

Novice driver Vince Simard was a man on a mission. Simard drove the wheels off his Awesome powered Gold Kart qualifying in the pole position by over a second. Simard would continue to dominate leading every lap in the pre-final and final earning the youngster his first victory of his short career. Click here for the full story!
