Quyon, Quebec – Le Circuit Quyon played host to round 6 signalling the half way point of the 2006 NCKC season. Looking to keep the momentum from previous event, the Karting Konnections team was well positioned for another strong performance when bad luck struck several of team's top drivers. Despite the misfortune, the team earned two podiums.

Nick Martin was the first Karting Konnections team member to be hit with bad luck. Marting powered his Awesome powered Gold kart to two wins in the qualifying heats taking the pole for the the feature. Directly behind Martin in the third grid position was team mate Roxy Vandenbeek on board her Major Speed Trudel powered Gold Kart. From the start of the feature Martin would check out. Unfortunately Martin's lead was short lived as a broken header just past the half way point would side line the Junior Heavy points leader. Eager not to let the team down, Roxy Vandenbeek turned consistently fast laps on way to a third place finish, her second podium in as many weeks. Click here for the full story!
